FAL Q3

Are we all ready for another quarter of productivity?

1. Giant Toy bags for my son. There are three here that I haven’t finished in this picture. I have done 1 but I have another two to complete.

2. Batik Disappearing Hour Glass Quilt.

It’s all basted, I just need to Quilt it.

3. Two Christmas cushions I have cut but need to piece. I made this one below and cut two more at the same time so need to finish them off.

4. My Christmas tree skirt. Fabric cut and partially pieced.

5. A charity quilt that is also basted but just needs quilting. Made from some orphan blocks by another that I said I would quilt and bind for her.

6. An Alison glass cushion cover for my floor pillow. Fabric chosen from this pile of Alison Glass fabrics (anyone noticing a theme for fabric choice…)

7. An Alison Glass foot pouf… fabric chosen and pattern purchased Handmade style by @noodlehead531

8. An Alison Glass bench…fabric chosen and pattern purchased (same as floor cushion cover).

9.. Daysail charity quilt Top just needs some appliqué but then it is ready to baste and quilt.

10. Everything in its Place bag

Since seeing many of these on retreat I now need this organisation bag. I am using Kate Spain’s Grand Canal fabric and in the midst of collecting/prepping the materials.

11. Amethyst Project bag

Again a need to organise my WIP so I’m going to make 3 of this for larger projects out of Kate Spain’s Grand Canal and Voyage. Pattern is purchased from @sewsweetness and printed. Just need to gather materials and get sewing.

12. Ruler Wrap

This is the latest pattern by @patternsbyannie and when I saw it I just needed to create it to help get my rulers and cutting mats to classes and retreats. Pattern is now on its way 😀

13. Downton Abbey Round We Go

Finally cutting into my Downton Abbey Stash and using it to make Sue Daly’s Round We Go Quilt. I have been reciving the paper pieces as part of a BOM subscription. I am about to receive papers for Block 9 yet I’m only just making block 2 so I have a way to catch up.

14. Penguin Party Quilt

This pattern has just been announced by Elizabeth Hartman and I will be purchasing it in May ready for the retreat in June. I am so excited about who the quilt is for 🙂 below is Elizabeth’s picture of it on IG.

15. My mums bedrunner Quilt

I have been promising this to my mum for a couple of years. It is started but this quarter I should probably finish it just to get it off my plate. Especially because she just knitted me a fabulous blanket in 3 months.

16. Pandalicious Quilt

This just needs quilting and binding but I’m hand quilting it.

17. Random Baby Quilt

Top is done, need to quilt 😀

18. Round Peg Square Hole quilt!

I have booked onto my first ever class not based at a retreat!!! Krista Hennebury @poppyprint is coming to Oxfordshire Modern Quilt Guild and I am super excited to make a batik version of her quilt.

19. Wagon Wheel Blook quilt

Another top needing to be quilted 😀

20. Paisley Splash Giant Pillow

I have been making pillows for friends and as I give them away My son has asked that he get red, orange and purple elephant quilt. Fabric and design are chosen. Bondaweb drawn out

21. Beeswax Food wraps

I have the tutorial and I’m going to make them from cotton and steel fabrics 😀

22. Reuseable Face wipes.

I need to get this done especially in this heat where I seem to be going through more face wipes than ever!

Going to use my scrap bucket for this.

I think that is enough for Q3 🙂
